Why this exists
Sandy nearly didn't get to grow old. 💛
In October 2026, just weeks after her season, our Sandy went quiet. A bit thirstier than usual. A bit sleepy. Easy to explain away — until it wasn't.
It was pyometra: a womb full of infection and pus that will kill a dog if it isn't caught in time. She needed emergency surgery. Thanks to a vet who moved fast, she pulled through — and she's snoozing on the sofa as I write this.
Most owners have never heard of pyometra until it's nearly too late. I hadn't either. Studies suggest roughly 1 in 4 unspayed females develops it by around age 10, and it moves in the 4–8 weeks after a season — exactly when nobody's worried.

Is this veterinary advice?
No — it's an educational tool made by a dog owner who's been through pyometra with her own girl. It helps you track cycles and know when to call the vet. It never replaces your vet.
How do I get the app after paying?
After checkout you'll get a friendly welcome email from me with your access code. Enter it on the unlock page and the app is yours to download — forever, on as many of your own devices as you like. Your welcome doggy bag gets posted within a few days of your order.
What devices does it work on?
Any phone, tablet or computer. Save the file once and it works offline forever. On a phone you can add it to your home screen so it opens like a proper app.
Does my dog's data go anywhere?
Nope. Everything is saved on your own device, by design. There's a one-tap backup button if you want a copy or you're changing phones.
